English Literary Society

The English Literary Society of the English Department was founded in 2015 to develop the skills required to facilitate advancement and progress of English literature and language among the student populous. It has been an ongoing and active society since then. In every session, it is reconstituted by electing new office bearers.

To offer student fraternity a platform to express themselves and contribute positively towards making the world a better place to live in.

• To promote literary zeal among the students.
• To develop among students a flair for the language and enhance their literary skills.
• To foster critical thinking and induce reading in students.
• To develop in students a curiosity to know more and instill in them a sense of confidence to articulate well.
• To inculcate a spirit of social cooperation and community welfare in students.
