Punjabi Sahit Sabha

Formation of Punjabi Literary Society by Punjabi department of Guru Nanak College, Sukhchainana Sahib, Phagwara on January 18, 1988, under the guidance of Prof. Harbhajan Singh Sohal, Prof. Kashmir Kadar, Dr. Bhupinder Kaur with a view to maintain a positive attitude towards Panjabiat. Following the same tradition, this literary society is constituted during each academic session by electing new office bearers.

Vision

1. To connect students with Punjabi mother tongue, Punjabi literature and Panjabi culture.
2. To inculcate literary skills among the students.
3. To instil competitive skills and confidence in students.

Aims

1. To develop student’s creative ability.
2. To enhance the Punjabi vocabulary of the students.
3. To set a platform for the students full of talent and genius.
4. To provide knowledge about Punjabi Language, Literature, Culture and Heritage.
5. To prepare the students for IAS, PCS, UGC-NET, Railway and Banking exams etc.
